Kwame Blair Thomas (born 28 September 1995) is an English professional football player who plays as a striker for the League One side Coventry City

Club career

Derby County

Having made progress through Derby County academy following his two years as a scholar,[2] Thomas signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2014, just months after receiving Under 21s Player of the Year.[3][4] On 29 November 2014, Thomas made his debut as a 66th-minute substitute in a Championship defeat to Leeds United.[5]

Thomas spent a month on loan in early 2015 at League One club Notts County but didn't score in five appearances and received a red card in a game for a delayed response to being substituted.[6] Then on 12 February 2015, Thomas made his return to Derby County after one month at Notts County.[7]

Thomas joined Blackpool on a half-season loan in August 2015 but was recalled by the Rams in November. He made 22 appearances for the Tangerines which included six starts.

Coventry City

Following Thomas' release from Derby County, he signed a 2-year contract with League One side Coventry City becoming their first signing of the close season.

International career

Thomas has represented England at under-16, under-17, and under-20 levels.[8][9]
