Kybong is a rural locality and outer suburb of Gympie, Queensland, Australia 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-east of Gympie's central business district along the Bruce Highway.
It was named on 1 December 2000.[2]
The locality is home to a large truck stop on the Bruce Highway and Gympie Airport.[3] The truck stop is home to 'Matilda', the mascot of the 1982 Commonwealth Games.
