Lake Highlands Junior High Junior High School is a public junior high school, part of the Richardson Independent School District, located at 10301 Walnut Hill Lane Dallas, TX 75238 in an area of northeast Dallas known as Lake Highlands.[1]

Accomplishments
In 2010, the school received a Blue Ribbon award from the U.S. Department of Education.[2]
The Lake Highlands Junior High Wildcat Band was founded by Eddie Green in 1964, after Howard Dunn and the high school band moved to the current high school campus on Church Street. Eddie Green, Carroll Cantrel and Malcolm Helm lead the Wildcat Band to be named the Texas Music Educators Association State Honor Band in 1969, 1972 and 1976 respectively. Today, the LHJH Symphonic and Concert Bands earn consistent Superior First Division Ratings at UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contests in Region 3.[3]
The Lake Highlands Junior High Choir program earns consistent Superior First Division Ratings in UIL Concert & Sight-Reading in Region 3.
The Lake Highlands Junior High Orchestra program is very successful at area festivals and UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contests.
