Laliteshwar Prasad Shahi

Laliteshwar Prasad Shahi was a veteran Indian National Congress leader from Bihar. He was elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in 1980, defeating Jai Narain Prasad Nishad of the Janata Party. In 1984, he became Member of Parliament from Muzaffarpur. He also became the Education & Culture minister. His son Hemant Shahi was Member of Legislative Assembly from Vaishali. His daughter-in-law Veena Shahi wife of Hemant Shahi was Co-operative minister of Bihar.
