Lalitha Kumari is an Indian film actress who is the daughter of Tamil actor "Vijayapuri Veeran" C.L Anandan and the younger sister of Disco Shanthi. She has starred in many movies in the early nineties with the likes of Goundamani, Senthil and other senior actors and has also played major roles in films like ‘Manadhil Urudhi Vendum’, ‘Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal’, ‘Pulan Visaranai’ and ‘Sigaram’.[3] Lalitha Kumari has performed in more than 30 odd films and has made her mark in Tamil industry.
Personal career
She got married to actor Prakash Raj on 1994 and the couple have two daughters Meghana, Pooja and son Sidhu who died in 2004. Later the couple got divorced on 2009. After the marriage she left the cinema field. After the divorce she make her re-entry into Kollywood by acting as wife of Sathyaraj in the upcoming Tamil movie Muriyadi.[2]
