Leslie "Les" Pearce (born 13 October 1923[1] in Swansea) is a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1940s and 1950s, and rugby league coach of the 1970s, playing club level rugby union (RU) for Swansea RFC, as a Lock, and playing club level rugby league (RL) for Halifax, as a Second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums, and coaching representative level rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Halifax, Leigh, and Dewsbury.

Les Pearce was the coach for Wales in the 1975 Rugby League World Cup.

BBC2 Floodlit Trophy final appearances

Les Pearce was the coach in Leigh's 5-0 victory over Widnes in the 1972 BBC2 Floodlit Trophy final during the 1972-73 season at Central Park, Wigan on Tuesday 19 December 1972.
