Lesti Andriyani, or simply called Lesty D'Academy, is an Indonesian dangdut singer and actress. Andryani is an winner of D'Academy of season 1[1] and came out as runner-up of D'Academy Asia. Andryani had dubbed by fans as Princess of Dangdut.[2]
Early life and career
Lesty Andryani was born on August 5, 1999, on Bandung, East Java, to parents Endang Mulyana and Sukartini. However, she was grew up in Cianjur. Since age of 4, Andryani has studying to singing without her talent descendants from whom. Since her junior school, Andriyani had join to auditioned for season 1 of Indosiar' dangdut singing competition D'Academy and eventually advanced even tough the jury still doubt of her potential. After going through round to round, Andryani has crowned as first winner in the champion concert and received a cash prize of Rp. 100 million and also a car.
After winning in this competition, Andriyani began her debut singing through the single which written by Nurbayan, titled "Kejora", that as a victory song in the singing competition and also listed in a compilation album of alumni D'Academy. Through her new single, Andriyani subsequently winning her first award for Most Famous Dangdut Song at the 2015 SCTV Music Awards and Most Popular Female Newcomer at the 2015 Indonesian Dangdut Awards.
After that, Andriyani has signed to a label Trinity Optima Production and took by Stream Entertainment, a new management who promoted for newcomer artist from talent competition. In addition, Andriyani also starring for several television films and mini series in local television industry.
In late 2015, Andriyani has represent Indonesia in the Asian dangdut competition D'Academy Asia[3] and came out as second winner (alias runner-up), behind Danang D'Academy 2; and also gifted for a holiday to England and a cash prize of 100 million.[4] In addition, Malaysian composer Pak Ngah also written the song directly to her for "Zapin Melayu".[5]
Andriyani is an dangdut singer who more popularity in dangdut music industry and often winning awards through her single, including Most Famous Female Dangdut Singer at the 2016 SCTV Music Awards; and also nominated for 2016 Best Contemporary Dangdut Female Solo Artist——Anugerah Musik Indonesia.
