Li Peng (Chinese: 栗鹏; pinyin: Lì Péng; born 29 August 1990 in Handan) is a Chinese footballer who plays for Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua.
Club career
Li joined Shandong Luneng Taishan Football School in 2003. He was loaned to Xinjiang Ticai in 2008 for the 2008 China League Two campaign. He transferred to Chinese Super League side Qingdao Jonoon in March 2010.[1] On 22 August 2010, he made his debut for Qingdao Jonoon in a Super League match which Qingdao lost to Jiangsu Sainty 4–0, coming on as a substitute for Lee Yoon-Sub in the 25th minute.[2] On 12 September 2010, he scored his first Super League goal in his second appearance, which ensured Qingdao beat Shenzhen Ruby 4–3.[3]
On 1 December 2016, Li moved to Super League side Shanghai Shenhua.[4]
