List of Chinese administrative divisions by life expectancy

This is a list of the first-level administrative divisions of the People's Republic of China (P.R.C.), including all provinces, autonomous regions, special administrative regions and municipalities, in order of their life expectancy in 2000.

The figures are from the 2005 Yearbook published by the Bureau of Statistics of the PRC. The Hong Kong and Macau figures are 2005 figures from the CIA World Factbook. Note that there is a 5-year gap between those figures and the figures from mainland China. The Shanghai figure is from Shanghai municipal government statistics for 2006.
