List of Golden Gate Transit routes
Golden Gate Transit (GGT) operates 26 bus routes, including 5 Regional routes and 21 Commute routes.[1] Schedules are updated quarterly to improve schedule reliability and efficiency.[2] Route information listed below is current as of 12 June 2016.
Regional service
Golden Gate Transit operates 5 Regional bus routes. Prior to June 2016, these were known as Basic routes. Routes 30, 40, 70, and 101 provide daily service (including holidays) between San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, and Contra Costa Counties. They use 40-ft buses, except some Route 101 trips on weekends, when 45-ft commuter buses are provided on that route. Route 40X operates during weekday peak periods only.
