A barn lost its roof, several outbuildings were destroyed, and several other outbuildings and carports were damaged. Numerous trees were downed as well.

EF2 Hampton area Livingston 37°17′N 88°22′W / 37.28°N 88.37°W / 37.28; -88.37 (Hampton (Jan. 12, EF2)) 2118 1.8 miles (2.9 km) The sanctuary of one church collapsed and the steeple and shingles were blown off of another church. A few homes and small outbuildings received shingle and siding damage. Several trees were downed as well.
Louisiana
EF1 SE of Frierson to SE of Shreveport DeSoto, Red River, Caddo 32°11′03″N 93°35′20″W / 32.1843°N 93.5888°W / 32.1843; -93.5888 (Frierson (Jan. 13, EF1)) 0530 7.25 miles (11.67 km) The tornado downed trees in Desoto Parish, before moving into Red River Parish, where it caused major damage to a home and downed more trees. It then moved into Caddo Parish, downing many trees and damaging two vehicles and two travel trailers, one of which had two people that suffered minor injuries. The tornado dissipated before crossing the Red River. A total of two people were injured, both occurring in Caddo Parish.

EF0 SW of Zachary to NNE of Olive Branch East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana 30°38′59″N 91°11′50″W / 30.6496°N 91.1972°W / 30.6496; -91.1972 (Zachary (Jan. 13, EF0)) 1919 12.5 miles (20.1 km) The tornado touched down in East Baton Rouge Parish, downing trees and fences as well as toppling yard play equipment. It moved into East Feliciana Parish, where many trees were downed and a carport was destroyed before the tornado dissipated.

EF0 S of Eagleville Rutherford 35°42′59″N 86°40′09″W / 35.7164°N 86.6692°W / 35.7164; -86.6692 (Eagleville (Jan. 13, EF0)) 2136 1.6 miles (2.6 km) A house suffered partial roof loss, with a door and a window blown out as well. An older building was flattened and approximately 100 trees were downed.
Mississippi
EF1 E of Poplarville Pearl River 30°49′12″N 89°30′42″W / 30.8199°N 89.5116°W / 30.8199; -89.5116 (Poplarville (Jan. 13, EF1)) 2245 1.1 miles (1.8 km) Over a dozen trees were downed, one of which severely damaged a pickup truck. A metal building lost half of its roof, and a trampoline was thrown 200 yards (180 m).
EF1 SE of Waynesboro Wayne 31°35′24″N 88°31′33″W / 31.5899°N 88.5258°W / 31.5899; -88.5258 (Waynesboro (Jan. 13, EF1)) 0015 3.3 miles (5.3 km) A modular home and a mobile home lost their roofs and dozens of large trees were downed. A chicken house was destroyed, with another sustaining major damage, before the tornado lifted.

EF1 W of Orlando Logan 36°10′N 97°28′W / 36.16°N 97.46°W / 36.16; -97.46 (Orlando (Jan. 29, EF1)) 1248 1.1 miles (1.8 km) A pole barn was partially destroyed, with debris (mostly sheet metal) tossed several hundred yards. Several pieces of heavy farm equipment were either moved or overturned and many trees were either downed or partially debarked.
EF2 NNW of Short to N of Natural Dam, AR Sequoyah, Crawford (AR) 35°36′18″N 94°29′53″W / 35.605°N 94.498°W / 35.605; -94.498 (Muldrow (Jan. 29, EF2)) 2055 9 miles (14 km) The tornado touched down just inside Oklahoma, downing numerous trees before moving into Crawford County, Arkansas. In Crawford County, a house suffered minor damage and thousands of trees and numerous power poles were downed.
Missouri
EF1 SE of El Dorado Springs Cedar 37°50′N 93°53′W / 37.84°N 93.88°W / 37.84; -93.88 (Cedar Springs (Jan. 29, EF1)) 1700 2.7 miles (4.3 km) Several barns and outbuildings were damaged, with some destroyed. Homes suffered minor roof damage, a portable carport was destroyed, and numerous trees were downed.
EF1 NW of Gerster to N of Quincy St. Clair, Hickory 37°59′N 93°37′W / 37.98°N 93.61°W / 37.98; -93.61 (Gerster (Jan. 29, EF1)) 1715 8.6 miles (13.8 km) At least four barns/outbuildings were destroyed and half of the roof was removed from another barn. Several homes sustained minor damaged and numerous trees were downed.
EF1 NW of Marthasville Warren 38°39′55″N 91°07′38″W / 38.6653°N 91.1272°W / 38.6653; -91.1272 (Marthasville (Jan. 29, EF1)) 2114 1.2 miles (1.9 km) The roof was removed from a barn and a couple supporting poles were lifted 8 inches (20 cm). Several 2x4 planks from the barn were driven approximately 8 inches (20 cm) into the ground. A few structures had loose siding and a two-story home suffered roof and wall damage. Many trees, some very large, were downed along the path.

A barn was heavily damaged and approximately 40 trees were downed.
EF2 E of Poplar Bluff Butler 36°46′N 90°22′W / 36.76°N 90.37°W / 36.76; -90.37 (Poplar Bluff (Jan. 29, EF2)) 0245 3.4 miles (5.5 km) A small, older, poorly constructed home was leveled, a mobile home was destroyed, and a couple of small structures were blown over. Many trees were snapped along the path.
EF1 SW of Delta to W of Blomeyer Cape Girardeau 37°12′N 89°44′W / 37.20°N 89.74°W / 37.20; -89.74 (Delta (Jan. 29, EF1)) 0313 5.5 miles (8.9 km) Ten buildings were damaged: Five businesses, two homes, one church, and two barns suffered roof damage, with a few of those structures losing their entire roofs. One home had roofing material that was blown into an adjacent house, damaging one side of that home. Numerous trees and power lines were downed as well.
EF1 S of Jackson Cape Girardeau 37°23′N 89°39′W / 37.38°N 89.65°W / 37.38; -89.65 (Jackson (Jan. 29, EF1)) 0313 6.8 miles (10.9 km) Several barns and outbuildings were either damaged or destroyed. Other structures suffered roof damage, including a church, and trees were downed.

Several barns, chicken houses, and outbuildings were destroyed and many trees and power poles were downed.
EF1 N of Rockhouse Madison 36°18′00″N 93°42′00″W / 36.300°N 93.700°W / 36.300; -93.700 (Rockhouse (Jan. 29, EF1)) 2157 2 miles (3.2 km) Several barns and outbuildings were destroyed and two homes sustained minor damage. Several cattle were killed and numerous trees and power poles were downed.

EF1 WSW of Skene to WNW of Cleveland Bolivar 33°41′20″N 90°49′30″W / 33.6890°N 90.8251°W / 33.6890; -90.8251 (Skene (Jan. 29, EF1)) 0510 5.5 miles (8.9 km) Several homes suffered minor roof damage, with an awning being ripped from one home. Many trees, power poles, and traffic signals/signs were downed along the path.

EF2 Goodwill area West Carroll 32°43′32″N 91°34′14″W / 32.7255°N 91.5705°W / 32.7255; -91.5705 (Goodwill (Jan. 29, EF2)) 0336 5.4 miles (8.7 km) The tornado removed the roof from a house and knocked down several walls. Several outbuildings were destroyed, several travel trailers were flipped, and a few other buildings suffered minor roof damage. Several trees were downed as well.

EF2 NNE of Galatia Saline 37°50′N 88°37′W / 37.84°N 88.61°W / 37.84; -88.61 (Galatia (Jan. 29, EF2)) 0416 1 mile (1.6 km) The tornado removed the entire roof from an unsturdy house and collapsed three out of the four exterior walls. Another house had roof decking damage. Several other houses had window, shingle, and decking damage. One more house lost its brick chimney, a machine shed was leveled, and another shed had large doors blown out. A carport was demolished and a pole barn-type garage and an awning were destroyed. Several very large trees were downed as well. Two people were injured.
Kentucky
EF0 E of Lynn Grove Calloway 36°35′N 88°26′W / 36.59°N 88.44°W / 36.59; -88.44 (Lynn Grove (Jan. 30, EF0)) 0536 2.1 miles (3.4 km) Several sheds/outbuildings were either damaged or destroyed. A dog kennel was damaged, a metal carport was demolished, and several homes suffered minor shingle damage. One home had its porch columns shifted. Several trees and power poles were downed as well, with trees falling onto two cars.

EF1 N of West Baden Springs Orange 38°37′N 86°37′W / 38.61°N 86.61°W / 38.61; -86.61 (West Baden Springs (Jan. 30, EF0)) 0647 0.4 miles (640 m) The roof of a home was badly damaged, the porch of the house was thrown several yards, and twigs were driven into the side of the house. Several trees were downed as well.
EF0 E of Elizabeth to NW of Valley Station, KY Harrison, Jefferson (KY) 38°08′N 85°58′W / 38.13°N 85.97°W / 38.13; -85.97 (Elizabeth (Jan. 30, EF0)) 0917 1 mile (1.6 km) Tornado damaged four houses and two barns and downed several trees. The porch of one home was lifted and thrown 30 feet (9.1 m) and trees and tress wires were downed. It then crossed the Ohio River and into Kentucky, where many trees were downed and a trampoline was blown over. A pontoon boat was thrown into a fence and a large plastic sign was damaged.

EF2 SE of Herndon Christian 36°41′N 87°34′W / 36.68°N 87.56°W / 36.68; -87.56 (Herndon (Jan. 30, EF2)) 0736 2.1 miles (3.4 km) Three homes sustained major damage and a two-story home had its roof removed and windows blown out. Most of one barn collapsed, another was flattened, and the roof of a shop building was removed. Additional homes and other structures suffered minor damage and numerous trees were downed.

Hundreds of trees were downed and at least two dozen power poles were snapped.

Tennessee
EF1 Hurricane Mills area Humphreys 35°58′03″N 87°48′10″W / 35.9676°N 87.8028°W / 35.9676; -87.8028 (Hurricane Mills (Jan. 30, EF1)) 0812 2.4 miles (3.9 km) A barn was destroyed and several homes and buildings suffered significant roof damage, including some buildings at Loretta Lynn's Ranch and Campground. Approximately 500 trees were downed as well.
EF2 Coble area Hickman 35°46′38″N 87°39′02″W / 35.7771°N 87.6505°W / 35.7771; -87.6505 (Coble (Jan. 30, EF2)) 0826 3 miles (4.8 km) Several brick homes sustained major damage, with one losing most of the roof and a wall collapsing. A mobile home was destroyed, with the frame being wrapped around a tree. A cinder-block garage and at least three barns were demolished, and an RV was flipped over. Hundreds of trees were downed along the path as well.

Hundreds of trees were downed as well. In Lewis County, five power poles were snapped, nine mobile homes were heavily damaged, and hundreds of trees were downed.

An outbuilding was destroyed, with debris blown about 100 yards (91 m) away. A business received roof damage and a warehouse had a door blown in and half of the roof removed. A TVA transmission tower and many trees were downed as well.

Part of the path was inaccessible so the path length may have been longer.

EF1 SSW of Cross Plains to SW of Portland Robertson, Sumner 36°31′N 86°43′W / 36.51°N 86.72°W / 36.51; -86.72 (Cross Plains (Jan. 30, EF1)) 0912 6 miles (9.7 km) In Robertson County, a barn, a mobile home, and several site-built home sustained varying degrees of damage and many trees were downed. The tornado moved into Sumner County, where it downed more trees before dissipating.
EF0 NW of Goodlettsville to WNW of Gallatin Davidson, Sumner 36°21′21″N 86°46′03″W / 36.3558°N 86.7675°W / 36.3558; -86.7675 (Millersville (Jan. 30, EF0)) 0912 11.7 miles (18.8 km) Several trees were downed, a few homes received minor roof damage, and a barn was destroyed in Davidson County. The tornado moved into Sumner County and into Millersville. Numerous homes suffered minor roof and exterior damage and a few trees were downed as the tornado crossed Interstate 65 in Millersville before it continued northeast out of town. Several more homes suffered minor damage, two garage buildings were destroyed, and more trees were downed before the tornado lifted.

Many trees were downed, several of which landed on mobile homes in a mobile home park. Fences were downed as well. The tornado lifted before reaching the Cumberland River, in an area directly opposite of the Opryland Hotel. One person was injured.

In Lamar County, Alabama, many trees were downed and two structures (one home and one outbuilding) sustained minor shingle damage.

EF0 NNE of Carbon Hill Walker 33°55′53″N 87°30′23″W / 33.9315°N 87.5063°W / 33.9315; -87.5063 (Carbon Hill (Jan. 30, EF0)) 1142 4.9 miles (7.9 km) A tree fell on a mobile home, causing moderate damage. A house sustained shingle damage, an outbuilding was destroyed, and dozens of trees were downed. This tornado occurred just after a microburst had hit the area.
EF1 NNE of Poplar Springs to NNE of Arley Winston 34°03′44″N 87°22′11″W / 34.0622°N 87.3696°W / 34.0622; -87.3696 (Poplar Springs (Jan. 30, EF1)) 1150 10.3 miles (16.6 km) A portion of a mobile home roof was thrown a quarter of a mile. Nearly 20 residences received damage, including one house that had severe roof damage. Several boat houses, or house boats, were destroyed on Smith Lake before the tornado dissipated. Thousands of trees were downed along the path.
EF1 N of Addison to NW of Jones Chapel Winston, Cullman 34°12′32″N 87°10′47″W / 34.2090°N 87.1797°W / 34.2090; -87.1797 (Addison (Jan. 30, EF1)) 1201 6.3 miles (10.1 km) In Winston County, a small airplane hangar was destroyed, and parts of the roofs were removed from a house and an outbuilding. Several trees were downed as well. In Cullman County, the tornado destroyed a barn and a mobile home and downed a few more trees before lifting.
Georgia
EF3 SW of Adairsville to Oakman Bartow, Gordon 34°20′28″N 84°57′10″W / 34.3411°N 84.9527°W / 34.3411; -84.9527 (Adairsville (Jan. 30, EF3)) 1612 21.8 miles (35.1 km) 1 death - Severe damage in the area with over 100 cars thrown on Interstate 75. In Bartow County, 95 structures were damaged. Of those, 31 were destroyed, 17 sustained major damage, and 47 had minor damage. These included a large manufacturing plant and many businesses in Adairsville. In Gordon County, at least 268 homes, including 66 mobile homes, were impacted. Of these homes, 30 were completely destroyed, 110 had major damage, and 70 sustained minor damage. Thousands of trees and many power lines were downed in both counties, with several of those trees falling onto homes. 17 people were injured in this tornado (nine in Bartow County and eight in Gordon County), the first killer tornado in the United States since June 24, 2012.[1] This tornado took a track very close to an EF3 tornado on December 22, 2011.
EF1 NW of Cherry Log to NNW of Mineral Bluff Gilmer, Fannin 34°49′02″N 84°25′40″W / 34.8171°N 84.4279°W / 34.8171; -84.4279 (Cherry Log (Jan. 30, EF1)) 1805 11.9 miles (19.2 km) The tornado downed hundreds of trees and snapped eight power poles in Gilmer County before moving into Fannin County. There, hundreds more trees were downed, with some landing on and causing damage to a total of 30 structures. About 100 power poles were snapped as well. One person was injured.

EF2 SE of Columbia Marion, Lamar 31°05′13″N 89°55′05″W / 31.087°N 89.918°W / 31.087; -89.918 (Pickwick (Feb. 10, EF2)) 2223 19 miles (31 km) The tornado touched down just inside western Marion County and destroyed a few outbuildings. The tornado intensified and caused considerable damage in the Pickwick area. A home lost part of its roof and three mobile homes were destroyed as well. The tornado continued northeast and caused roof damage to three more homes. Many trees were downed in this area. The tornado then weakened but continued damaging structures and downing trees until it crossed into Lamar County. In Lamar County, a few other structures were damaged, including one home that lost its roof. Significant tree damage was noted and several power poles were snapped. Three people were injured. The supercell that produced this tornado would go on to produce the Hattiesburg tornado.

The tornado came from the same supercell as the Hattiesburg tornado.

The tornado crossed the Tombigbee River into Clarke County, where it damaged three wood-frame homes, rolled a single-wide mobile home, and blew another mobile home off of its block foundation. Several pine trees were snapped before the tornado dissipated. The supercell that produced this tornado would quickly produce the Grove Hill tornado just northeast of where this one lifted.
