List of bluegrass bands
This is an alphabetical list of bluegrass bands. A bluegrass band is a group of musicians who play acoustic stringed instruments, typically some combination of guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, dobro and upright bass, to perform bluegrass music.[1]
Each band on this list has been selected because there is a Wikipedia article about it or because it has been confirmed as a performing and/or recording bluegrass band in a published source such as a news report, magazine article or book.
For individual musicians, see the List of bluegrass musicians.
