The areas of Noida (New Okhla Industrial Development Authority) and Greater Noida are the industrial areas in the western part of the Uttar Pradesh state of India. Noida was set up in 1976 as a result of town and country planning.[1] They together also became a major hub of industrial development in the region.[2]
