Pakistani films generate income from several revenue streams in which theatrical exhibition, television broadcast rights and merchandising are included. Pakistani film industry is called Lollywood and the films are known as Karawood films.

Lollywood or Karawood is the name of Pakistan's film industry which is based on the whole Pakistan films. Karawood, which is famous for the Urdu films, the Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, Kashmiri and Balochi films are also included in the list of the films carried out in Karawood. Bengali films also featured in Pakistani film industry before the separation of East Pakistan.
