List of international goals scored by Abby Wambach
Abby Wambach is a retired American women's association football player who holds the record of the number of international goals scored by a player. Among current and former members of the United States women's national soccer team, Wambach is third behind Mia Hamm and Kristine Lilly in providing assists, and fifth in number of international matches played for the national team.
Summary
The previous record holder of scoring international goals was Mia Hamm who scored 158 international goals during her career. Wambach broke Hamm's record on June 20, 2013, by scoring four goals against Korea Republic, in a friendly match at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey; her international goal number 157 to number 160.[1]
