List of lighthouses in India

There are many lighthouses along the long coastline of India and in the associated islands. They are administered by the Directorate General of Lighhouses and Lightships, Government of India.
They are categorized for administrative reasons into nine districts: Gandhidham, Jamnagar, Mumbai, Goa, Trivandrum, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Kolkata and Port Blair.[1]
