List of lists of roads in Shenzhen

The following is a list of lists of roads in the city of Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.

Being a relatively new city dating back to only the late 1970s, Shenzhen (深圳) has had the advantage of planned street grids.[1]

Typically, roadways in Shenzhen are designated as street, road, avenue, boulevard and expressway.[2] Streets in Shenzhen (Chinese: 街; pinyin: Jie) tend to be narrow, with 1-2 lanes, Roads (Chinese: 路; pinyin: Lù) have 2-4 lanes, Avenues and Boulevards (Chinese: 大道; pinyin: dà dao) can have anywhere between 4-12 lanes and expressways tend to either run across larger extents of the city or connect it to adjoining regions.[1][3] They all may run either North-South or in an East-West direction.[4]
