Live in Las Vegas is the first and only live album released by Al Jardine following his departure from The Beach Boys. Following the death of Carl Wilson in 1998 Jardine left the touring version of the Beach Boys and started his own touring group called "The Beach Boys Family and Friends" featuring musicians who had played with The Beach Boys and also were family members of the band, including Brain Wilson's daughters Carnie and Wendy and Al's son's Matt and Adam.[2]
