Local Government Officials Development Institute (LOGODI), established in 1965, is a government organization affiliated with the Ministry of Public Administration and Security (MOPAS), Republic of Korea. It offers training programs for senior-level local government officials, and provides guidance and support for local training centers under metropolitan and provincial governments. It also conducts international training programs and promotes international collaborative programs.

Tragedy

In 2015, 10 members of a training delegation in China, were killed in the 2015 Ji'an bus accident, and the President of the Institute, Choi Doo-yeong, who organized the trip, subsequently committed suicide.[1][2]
