Lucknow International Cricket Stadium is an under-construction cricket stadium of International Standard with all required facilities in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
In December 2013, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav declared that Lucknow will get a state-of-the art international cricket stadium by the first quarter of 2017.[1]
Government had ordered Ekana Sportz City Pvt. Ltd., a company consortium of two infrastructure giants - NCC Ltd. and G.C Construction & Development Industries Pvt. Ltd..
Ekana Sportz City Pvt. Ltd. is a SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle), its Managing Director, Shri Uday Sinha has been tasked to Develop, Design, Finance, Construct, Operate, Maintain and Transfer the International Cricket stadium, Football Stadium, Indoor Stadium and the Multi-purpose Sports complex on a 71 acres parcel of land for the period of 35 years, in accordance with the provisions of the Concessionaire Agreement.
Ekana Sportz City Pvt. Ltd. has also been provided 66 acres parcel of land, for Real Estate Project in area of Mastemau and Ardaunamau villages near the Chak Gajaria Lucknow-Sultanpur Road.
The total area of the Project is 137 acres, out of which 71 acres is for Sports Infrastructure Project and 66 acres for Real Estate Project.
Facilities
1. Cricket Stadium with 50,000 seating capacity will cater for, day/night matches, with playing square offering 9 cricket pitches.[2]
2. Air conditioned Multi Sports Indoor Stadium with seating capacity of 2500 spectators will be furnished with the state of the art equipment and facilities for the following sports :-
* Squash * Badminton * Table tennis * Basketball * Volleyball
3. A 30000 seating capacity Football Stadium with specifications of FIFA level.
4. An Outdoor Cricket 7 net practice boxes.
5. Swimming Pool and Hydro Therapy.
6. 10 Lawn / synthetic Tennis Courts.
7. Gymnasium.
8. Jogging Track.
9. Cycling track

SPORTS ACADEMY
A state-of-the-art Cricket and Football academies have been planned within the complex. The aim of these academies will be to offer the budding talent of the state a systematic and modern training technique with the best infrastructure, by trained coaches for skill improvement and professional excellence. Not only the students of the academy but also members of State and National teams will benefit from the programs at these Academies.
SPORTS HOSTEL
To cater for an all round development of trainee students, two fully furnished hostels facilities, one each for girls and boys, are being available. The hostels will cater for all needs of the trainees with the aim that the trainees can focus and concentrate exclusively on their chosen sports field and under the supervision of dedicated team of coaches. Players Hostel will have the under mentioned accommodations: -
- Boys Hostel 175 beds - Girls Hostel 75 beds
