M. N. Karassery

M.N. Karassery (Mohiyuddin Nadukkandiyil Karassery) is a Malayalam writer and activist. He was born in Karassery village (now part of Kozhikode district) in Kerala on 1 July 1951.[1] His columns on contemporary political and social issues appear in the newspaper Mathrubhumi. He has won many national and state film awards for his outstanding films and books.. He was a professor and head of the department of Malayalam in Calicut University.
