MONyog is a monitoring and advisory tool for MySQL Community, MySQL Enterprise and MariaDB. This software is created by Webyog Inc. based out of Bangalore, India and Santa Clara, California.
MONyog helps MySQL Database Administrators to manage more servers, tune their MySQL servers and fix problems with MySQL database applications. MONyog is agent-less, and does not require anything to be installed on the MySQL servers. MONyog helps monitor enterprise database environments and provides expert advice on how even those new to MySQL can tighten security, optimize performance and reduce downtime of their MySQL powered systems.
History
MONyog was first released in the year 2007. The development team has constantly added features and improved the existing ones, since then.

- Disk monitoring to find out primary candidates for disk cleanup or requires additional storage and Deadlock monitoring to know queries that caused deadlock and other useful information on InnoDB status.
- MONyog API allows for configuration by sending HTTP requests to running MONyog instance.

Platforms
MONyog works on the Windows platform starting from Windows XP/2003 as well as on Linux. Additionally, MONyog will work with MySQL on any platform i.e. MONyog does not enforce restrictions on the platform MySQL is installed on. If there is a MySQL server running, MONyog can connect to it!
Support
Webyog provides priority support to Enterprise customers through their ticket based support system. One can also get support through Webyog Forums which has more than 5000 active users. Core MONyog developers also respond to queries asked in the forums.
