The Gorai-Madhumati River (Bengali: গড়াই-মধুমতি Gôŗai-Modhumoti) is one of the longest rivers in Bangladesh and a distributary of the Ganges.[1] In the upper reaches it is called the Gorai, and the name changes to Madhumati.
