Marcus Cooper Walz (born 3 October 1994) is a Spanish sprint canoeist who has competed internationally since the early 2010s. He won the gold medal in the K-1 1000 metres event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.[1]
Born in Oxford, United Kingdom to an English father and a German mother, the family established in Majorca when Walz was 3 month old.[2]
