2016 election
On June 16, 2016, Fernandez announced her campaign as a member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party for the upcoming election in District 30B in Minnesota.[1] According to the politician herself, her priorities lie with education and taxes, the latter of which she claimed: "We do not need to raise taxes on the middle class but we need to reprioritize spending."[2]
