Marina Tabassum is a Bangladeshi architect. In 2016, she won Aga Khan Award for Architecture for the design of Bait-ur-Rouf Mosque in Dhaka, Bangladesh.[2]
Education
Tabassum graduated in architecture from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 1994.[3]
Career
Tabassum founded URBANA in 1995 with Kashef Chowdhury.[4] She serves as the founder and principal architect of Marina Tabassum Architects (MTA). She has been a visiting professor at the BRAC University since September 2005.[3]
Tabassum was the designer of Bait Ur Rouf Mosque which was completed in 2012.[5]
