Mary Kills People is an upcoming Canadian television series, starring Caroline Dhavernas.[1] The series, which will contain at least six episodes, was commissioned by TV-channel Global an January 28, 2016.[2] Production is set to start in summer 2016,[3] and an airing is set for January, 2017.[4] For the US, the series was picked up by Lifetime on October 14, 2016. The channel is coming up as a co-producer and is involved in the creative aspects of the project, including casting. Mary Kills People will be aired together with the third season of TV series UnREAL.[5]
Plot
The series is set around the life of Dr. Mary Harris, a single mother and ER doctor, who is illegally helping terminally ill patients ending their lives, getting into trouble, when a police investigation is starting to examine the deaths of some of her patients.
