Matthew Marchant currently serves as the sitting Mayor of the City of Carrollton, Texas.[1][2] He is married to Lindsay Marchant, and is the father of two daughters. Marchant is a lifelong resident of Carrollton, as his father, Kenny Ewell Marchant, served as Mayor of Carrollton from 1984-1986. Matthew was elected in May 2011, and was re-elected in 2014. His current term ends in May 2017.
