Matthew Pateman (also known as Matthew James) is an English singer and actor. He is best known as the former lead singer of the English 1990s boy band, Bad Boys Inc.[1]
He trained from the age of eight at the Patricia Hammond School of Dramatic Art and took further training at the London Studio Centre. Pateman appeared in the BBC daytime soap Doctors, and the musical Boyband at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End. He was later in a rock/pop/electro band called Jean, and a member of Madhen Productions.[2]
He competed to represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song, "A Better Man", but didn't win the selection.
