McCann, California
McCann is a locality[1] in Humboldt County, California. It is located on the Northwestern Pacific Railroad 4.5 miles (7.2 km) east of Weott,[1] at an elevation of 174 feet (53 m).[2]
A post office operated at McCann from 1919 to 1959.[1] By 1881, McCann was a stage coach station.[1] McCann was named in honor of Willard O. McCann, lumber mill operator.[1]
