Mefisto in Onyx is an American novella written by Harlan Ellison.[1] The introduction and cover art was by Frank Miller.[2][3]
Ellison stated in an interview with Salon that he wrote Mefisto in Onyx to be adapted into a film starring Forest Whitaker.[1]
Mefisto in Onyx was later included in the Harlan Ellison's 1997 collection Slippage.[4]
Plot
