Mohammad Mehdi Yaghoubi (Persian: محمد مهدی یعقوبی; born 2 April 1930, in Qazvin) is a retired Iranian wrestler. He was Olympic silver medalist in Freestyle wrestling in 1956, and also competed at the 1952 and 1960 Olympics. He won a bronze medal at the 1951 World Wrestling Championships.[1] He lost to Rashid Mammadbeyov of the Soviet Union at the round of 64 at the 1952 Olympics.[2]
