Melanella polita is a species of small sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Eulimidae. The species is one of multiple known species to exist within the genus, Eulima. [1] This species is also known to be one of the first recognized species to be assigned to the major Melanella genus of Eulimidae.

Distribution

This species occurs in the North Atlantic Ocean and in the Mediterranean Sea (off Greece).
