Mezzanino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pavia in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 km south of Milan and about 7 km southeast of Pavia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,435 and an area of 13.9 km².[1]
The municipality of Mezzanino contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cassinetta, Malpensata di Sopra, Malpensata di Sotto, Busca, Tornello, Alberelli, Palazzo, Maccabruna, Calcedonia, Caldera, and Oratorio.
