Michael (Mike) Marcotte (born 1971) is a national and Colorado technology leader, business person, and philanthropist.

Mike is currently the 2016 Chairman of the Board of the Colorado Technology Association.[1]

Mike is the CEO of innovation lab software company Acumen Digital.[2]

He was the Global Chief Information Officer of EchoStar corporation and several other fortune 500 firms. He was one of the very first people ever, to serve as a Chief Digital Officer in a major global corporation. He has served as the CEO of several notable computer software companies.[3]

He's a two-time winner of NASA's engineering excellence award and the U.S. Air Force engineering award.[4]

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the private-public National Cybersecurity Institute (NCC). He is also the chairman of the NCC's Rapid Response Center Board.[5]

He is a top technology & cyber security advisor to the governor of the State of Colorado.[6]

He is recognized as an innovator in OTT (over the top) video technologies.[7]

In 2010, he was named to the DBJ's 40 under forty award.[8]

He completed high school at The Denver School for the Gifted (now the Logan School for Creative Learning) at the age of 14 and entered college at Bard College.[9]

He lives outside of Denver, Colorado and is married with three children.
