John Michael "Mick" Wright (born 25 September 1946) is an English former professional footballer who made his first team debut aged 16 and went on to make 318 appearances playing as a right back for Aston Villa.[2] Wright was educated at Ellesmere Port Grammar School. His career was cut short when he had to retire through injury.[1]
