Monito.com

Monito is a swiss price comparison website for international money transfer services. The website enables consumer to compare the transfer fees, exchange rates and other fees related to an international money transfer as well as the transfer speed, customer reviews and type of pay-in and pay-out options. Incorporated in January 2015 under the legal name Global Impact Finance Ltd,[1] Monito (formerly known as TawiPay[2]) was founded by François and Pascal Briod and Laurent Oberholzer.

In September 2015, Monito signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Geneva[3] to enhance transparency in the remittances market as well as co-published a paper “Remittances: How reliable are the data?”[4]

In October 2015, the company raised a seed round of CHF 400k to finance the product development and foster international expansion.[5]
