Athletic programs
Montverde's athletic programs compete on a national level, rather than as a member of the Florida State High School Athletic Association. Sports offered include baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, equestrian, golf, lacrosse, powerlifting, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. Former basketball players who have gone on to the NBA include Joel Embiid, D'Angelo Russell[1], Luc Mbah a Moute, and Ben Simmons.
