MotoGP is the first game of the MotoGP game series for the PlayStation 2 and the first one published by Namco. It is based on the arcade game 500GP.

The game received "generally favorable reviews" according to the review aggregation website Metacritic.[1] In Japan, Famitsu gave it a score of 35 out of 40.[3]
