History
It was founded in 2008 by Terry Hogan and Chris Green and provides various tools for motorists including free car valuations, car comparison and car reviews. The website currently has 2 million registered users with over 850,000 monthly visits.[2]
Initially Motoring.co.uk focused on providing classified adverts in the used car market and has since diversified significantly; providing a wide range of content, information and services for users across buying, selling and owning a car. It is known for offering a large array of free tools to both consumers and auto-enthusiasts.
In August 2014 Motoring.co.uk secured £500,000 from The Greater Manchester Loan Fund (GMLF), managed by Maven Capital Partners to accelerate the launch of its new platform, MyMotoring.co.uk.[3]

In September 2014 Motoring.co.uk launched MyMotoring.co.uk,[4] with the aim to support all motorists throughout their entire car owning life-cycle, by giving them regular updates and reminders.
By April 2015, MyMotoring.co.uk had already attracted over 500,000 registered users.[5]
