Mount Vernon Presbyterian School (or MVPS or MV) is a Christian (Presbyterian), independent, coeducational day school in Atlanta, Georgia. MVPS currently operates grades K - 12, in addition to a preschool. The Lower School Campus, which houses grades K-6 and the preschool, is located at 471 Mt. Vernon Hwy and the Glenn Campus, which houses grades 7-12, is located at 510 Mt. Vernon Hwy. The upper school (9-12th grade) was established in 2001 and its first class graduated in the spring of 2008. The Glenn Campus is eco-friendly, including the use of geo-thermal utilities. They compete at the varsity level in athletics in GHSA Region 5 Single A. The seventh and eighth grade is housed in Middle School Academic Building, or "MSAB' located on the Glenn Campus. The Mustang Athletic Center, or 'MAC' is the center of all Varsity Sports. MVPS has an impressive arts and drama department, with many students in the Thespian Society, and our own black box theater. The Mascot is Renegade the Mustang.
