Chinese Soviet Republic National Bank
Chinese Soviet Republic National Bank (Traditional Chinese: 中華蘇維埃共和國國家銀行) was a bank established by Chinese Communist Party-controlled "Chinese Soviet Republic" in the Republic of China. Its governor was Mao Zemin, the younger brother of Mao Zedong. It involved in providing mortgage, loan, saving, bill, government bond services and issuing banknotes and coins in the CCP's controlled region.[1]
History
- 1 February 1932: Established in Ruijin, Jiangxi
- 1935-1936: Moved to Shanbei with the Red Army and renamed to Chinese Soviet Republic National Bank–Northwest Branch (Traditional Chinese: 中華蘇維埃共和國國家銀行西北分行).
- 1937: Dissolved and renamed to Shensi-Kansu-Ninghsia Border Area Bank (Traditional Chinese: 陝甘寧邊區銀行), after Sian Incident happened and it led to Second United Front.
