Nelly Karim (Arabic: نيللي كريم; born December 18, 1974 in Alexandria, Egypt) is an Egyptian actress,[2][3] fashion model,[4] and ballerina.[5][6][7]
Life and career
Karim is the daughter of a Russian mother and an Egyptian father.[8] As of 2016, she appeared in over 25 Egyptian films and TV series.[8] Karim has drawn notice for her 2006 refusal to portray "seductive roles".[9] In 2016 she served as jury member for the Horizons section at the 73rd edition of the Venice Film Festival.[8]
Personal life
Karim has four children,[10] the last of which was born in 2011.[11][12]
