Neotyphodium chilense is a species of fungus in the Clavicipitaceae family. Originally known as Acremonium chilense when it was first described in 1990,[1] it was transferred to Neotyphodium in 1996.[2] It is an endophytic fungus that occurs in Dactylis glomerata in southern Chile.
