Nicholas Anthony "Nick" Micozzie (born November 2, 1928) is an American politician from Pennsylvania who served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He was Republican Chairman of the House Insurance Committee and was also a member of the House Health and Human Services Committee.
Career
Micozzie got his start in public service at the local level, serving for many years as a councilman and then a commissioner in Upper Darby Township.[1] Micozzie also worked as an electrician. He retired in 2014.[2]
Personal
Born in Philadelphia, Micozzie graduated from St. Thomas More High School in the city. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s College, Philadelphia and later attended Villanova University. He is also a U.S. Air Force veteran who reached the rank of staff sergeant.[2]
Micozzie and his wife have three children, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
