The Nipissing Lakers are the athletic teams that represent Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario, Canada.
The Lakers varsity programs compete in men's and women's basketball, ice hockey, volleyball, soccer, cross country running and nordic skiing.[1] There is also a cross country ski team that occasionally obtains varsity status depending on team size.
Men's Basketball
First season was in 2014-2015 in the CIS and OUA play, the head coach of the team is Chris Cheng, who is a coach of the Canadian Junior Cadet Team. The Lakers play their home games at Robert J Surtees Gymnasium on the campus of Nipissing University.
