Nong Bua (Thai: หนองบัว sometimes transcribed as "Nongbua") is a tambon (subdistrict) of Chai Prakan District, in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand.[1] In 2005 it had a total population of 16,374 people. The tambon contains 11 villages.
