Norman W. Marsh
Norman Winfield Marsh (February 25, 1898 – February 10, 1980)[1][2] was an American cartoonist.
Biography
Marsh lived in Los Angeles.[3]
Comic strips
Norman Marsh's career as a cartoonist began c. 1922.[4] Circa 1947, he founded his own syndicate, Marsh Features Syndicate.[5][2]
Marsh created the character Dan Dunn in Detective Dan: Secret Operative No. 48, a 9 1/2 x 12-inch[6] or 10 x 13-inch[7] comics publication with black-and-white newsprint pages, published by Humor Publishing Company in 1933.[6] It had a three-color cardboard cover and sold for 10 cents.[7]
Other strips Marsh is known to have worked on include Red Ryder, Hunter Keene, and Danny Hale.[2]
