The Alpine Grayling (Oeneis glacialis) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found in the Alps on heights of 1400 to 2900 m above sealevel.
The wingspan is 50–56 mm. The butterflies are on wing from June to August depending on the location.
The larvae feed on Festuca species.
