Osborne /ˈɒzbɔːrn/, along with Osbourne, Osbern, Osborn and Ausburn, is an English name influenced by the Old Norse Ásbjørn. The name means "God Bear". The English Os (see Ós) and the Norse Ás (see Aesir) mean God.[1]
